Hey guys, and welcome to the 3 people who have subscribed since the last newsletter!

I’ve spent some time thinking about this next year and which direction my career is heading. As I complete my GP training, I have a few options:

1 - Work primarily as a GP - salaried / locum.

2 - Work in healthtech - roles vary - salary is considerably lower - but varies my week a lot more.

3 - Work as a GP part-time - spend the rest of the week building Zone 6 Health, content creation and possibly building towards a private practice - offering a type of service I can be proud of.

What would you like to see me do? Don’t worry - the newsletters and content will always keep running.

I’m also planning to get a Neko health appointment - I hope to share the results and experience with you. I hope they allow me to record in the premises!

I’ve also revisited the gym for the first time in several months. I tried to predominantly do kettlebell based workouts

See you next week!

Your GP Can't Prescribe This! (So we built it)

I explain why I built SocialPrescriber.co.uk, a free directory of non-medical community support (loneliness services, exercise groups, debt and housing advice) that anyone can self-refer to, no GP appointment needed.

Best thing about being a GP?

A few honest thoughts on the part of general practice that keeps me positive, even on the harder days.

Doctor Reacts: "Normal Blood Tests"

I reacted to a viral TikTok about the frustration of being told your blood tests are "normal" when you still feel unwell, and what it tells us about improving that conversation.
